Hello! I'm Zennor
I’m an editor, book coach and consultant specializing in non-fiction. I spent over twelve years commissioning, editing and publishing bestsellers at Penguin Random House and Pan Macmillan before taking the leap into the freelance world.
Books I've worked on have won prizes, been bookseller picks and featured on countless outlets from The Times and Radio 4 to This Morning. I have worked with seasoned writers, experts, first-time authors, celebrities and major brands, such as Mark Ronson, Hayley Morris, Rob Cowen, Ashley James, David Olusoga, Eva zu Beck, Monzo and many more. I work on a wide range of non-fiction, including self-development and lifestyle and particularly love memoir, nature and travel books. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and creative.
Born in Cornwall, I grew up in Lewes in East Sussex. Working with books was inevitable: I maxed out my library allowance every week, at ten I was a judge on the Blue Peter Book Awards and my first Saturday job was at the indie bookshop at the end of my road. I now live in Brighton and when I’m not editing or reading you will find me hiking, in the yoga studio, practicing wobbly calligraphy or in the sea (even in January).
